A little excitement for my little champ

Reviewed by Sara M, 2010-03-04

I purchased this "center" as a Christmas gift for my baby. As a new one-year-old there is not a lot of the market that will captivate him for longer than a minute. And after some months have passed, I am pleased to announce that he will still sit and play with it for ten or even twenty minutes at a time. It is smaller than you imagine, and would probably make a good gift for those hard to shop for babies. Its caveat is that all the pieces are removable, and my toddler is capable of removing the pieces, so he does dismantle it frequently. And I find pieces all over the house. It does require some set up and plenty of batteries.

OK- but not really worth it

The toy is cute, the noises it makes are cool, and our girls like the 2 basketballs, but that's about it. They played with the football rattle in the beginning and beat on a number of things with the bat, but less than 2 mos later and this toy pretty much collects dust.

I bought this for my twin grandchildren. I have not seen them play with it yet but my son said they are having a good time with it.They are only 20 months old so will enjoy it more as they get older I think.

Not very entertaining

I bought this for my son for Christmas. So far he has spun the football a couple of times and laughed. Other then that he has no interest. He would rather play basketball with his flimsy nerf hoop then this thing. He is 18 months old and I really thought he would like it but he really doesn't. Plus you can hardly hear the music it plays.

Not exactly what I expected

The toy doesn't do too much, and its very light weight. My 9 month old pulls on the basketball rim and it tumbles over, I'm still trying to find the purpose of the t-ball stand, it doesn't do anything at all, its hard to get it to spin when you hit it with the bat. My son likes the football because when you grab it, it spins around and makes a lot of noise. I'm pretty sure there are other toys out there sports related with some type of educational value. Although it does cheer when you score a goal and it counts your shots.
